The Namibia San Council
The Namibia San Council (NSC) aims to be the voice of the San in Namibia.
The NSC was informally established in 2004. In 2015 became formalized as an Association with a Constitution which had been the result of a long-term participatory process of all San Council members.
The NSC is currently comprised by representatives from the Ju|’hoansi in Tsumkwe East, !Xung in Tsumkwe West, !Xoo, ‘N|oha and Naro from Omaheke South, ≠Xao||ae from Omaheke North, Hai||om from Oshikoto and Khwe from Kavango and Zambezi in Namibia.
The NSC was established to promote the rights of the San communities and to assist in the development of the San communities.
